Project Summary

This project is the first phase of our 10 year masterplan for St Christopher's school, and involves creating a new pair of reception classrooms and early years play area on a former car park.

The classroom extensions will provide extra space, more natural light, different learning zones, and free-flow access out onto a dedicated reception play area. They feature sliding doors to allow rooms to function separately, or as a combined space, and will include new children's WCs directly accessed from the rooms. A dedicated reception play area allows learning activities to continue outside and features new play equipment and a variety of zones and learning resources that support active play, sensory exploration, individual and group activities, as well as ways to connect with nature.
